So after about two hours of discussion last night (with myself ie: Jack) in Instant Messenger with Takezo-Kensei's writer Jack opted to go native on me. HA! Okay not really, but my brain and his brain I guess were having issues and while I could easily sort through things, it still made interaction odd because somethings characters are aware of, somethings aren't the same "Jack" and well... confusion was bound to happen. In my head at the very least there would have been some sort of volcanic 4th grade project going on.

So after a lot of debating in my head, and talking to a few other players I've done the same thing that Takezo-Kensei has done. Split the muse by verse. Originally I had him going by Writing Community, but even that was getting a bit dodgy with my own Rose/Ten interaction I had going on. So here are my "Verse Listings" and a brief "Summary" of what's going on in there. All the verses are properly tagged too, I spent the last hour and a half doing it so yeah... tags rule.

01 ADAM VERSE: This is where Jack and Adam takezo_kensei try to make things work, and try to actually commit. Brave New World Folks. This is the main verse that most of my RP would be set in, unless I've already spoken to you and you've opted for Lite!Jack aka Canon. This is going to be a rough road ahead for him, and he's going to need a few people to talk to. Martha notquiteadoctor will be coming to work for him at Torchwood, so that will help him out. This is also the verse that is going to be using the Wonderful Backstory that I have touched on briefly with ambitious_woman where his two years that the Time Agency took from him, were spent with her. At first I was going to pull that off into a separate spot, but really Jack needs that sort of relationship in his past, regardless of him being able to remember it or not, to be able to have something like this in his present. So those are all marked with 01 adam verse: history tags. Now this is the verse that also had him change into a girl, but that happened PRE-Adam, but it's still a part of this verse because of the help from Martha. It's sort of like that verse has always been going on, but now that it is getting more of an angsty serious tone, I've opted to pull a lighter funner version of Jack aside. 02 CANON VERSE: Just what it says. This is the Canon Verse, I'll follow Torchwood plot, Torchwood ships, Doctor Who stories, all that fun stuff. Most of his prompts will be canon, or assumed canon backstory. There are a few Ianto's and Gwen's that my Jack "talks" to. You can consider your interaction with him to either be in the canon verse, or the 04 open verse: which a lot of quizzes and memes and random topics will go under.

03 OT3 VERSE: HEEE the Ten/Reinette/Jack Verse. The meeting for drinks, the random flirty moments, the unsaid things, and the unresolved sexual tension. It gets it's own verse. Because really it needs to be a place where no one has any ties to anyone else and they can really just give each other looks that mean a lot more than anyone is saying.

04 OPEN VERSE: Pretty much all the meme's and quizzes and prompts for makeyourlist and onapostcard and the like will go in this category, which means anyone can reply and I'm pretty sure I'll know which way to reply to you. Pretty simple actually.

05 RELATIVE SPACE: Most of the RS stuff goes into the community, but every so often I might write up a fiction or something in the same context that I'd want to share with everyone, so I'll mark it that it's from that realm just to make sure everyone knows.

So that's it. That's the way I'm working on Jack, and You all have plenty of choices for interaction, and yet at the same time I'd really hope that those that are sticking to a canon Jack I'd still be able to have the Adam Verse Jack call someone up if he needed help, or someone to talk to, because again this is going to be a long road ahead for him, and he might need to talk to someone other than himself, Martha or Adam.
