[RM] 1.75.2 - Always Remember.

The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved.

I'd like to think that I pretty much set the standard for the superior man. It should go without saying, but I might as well say it... just for posterity's sake. So that statement, applies directly to me. Well as directly as a blank sentiment from a guy that has his most famous expressions falsified can be applied to one person. It even can seem to be stating the obvious in that less than obvious way, but it still applies, and especially to me. The superior Man.

So I can attest that yes, even when I'm resting with my feet propped up on my desk I am well aware of the imminent danger that no doubt is occurring somewhere in the world... or time, or hell space. It's going to happen, and it's always happening. Stars explode, butterflies flap their wings and things change. So I'm ready for it, ready and more than willing.

It's also safe to say that sure when I am standing in the middle of Cardiff, maybe in a street taking in the sites, or just wondering where the hell that Weevil went... I know that it could all just come crumbling down around me. I've seen it happen. At least several times. Monumental cases of ruin. Lives have been lost, and people you cared about...

It's all just a steady reminder that no matter what you do... you can't stop it all. You can organize it, alphabetize it, prepare however you can and make it all seem like you're in control of it all. Then when it comes you can say you're ready... and more than willing, but you've got to take it to the bitter end, you've got to survive that chaos... because in the end it's all chaos until it's just darkness.

I've seen that too... you know just saying that for posterity's sake.
