[ooc] June is the Month of Jack - He's thrilled... are you?

Maybe people have noticed, or maybe it's more apparent to myself, but Jack has started to sort of slip away from me. I blame the last season of Torchwood. There was so much happening to him and around him, and it was hard to put it together with the "Year that Never Was" and getting it to mesh into the actual worlds I wanted to put Jack in that it eventually created a very sullen and moody Jack. He's still upset over the events of the finale. Hell I'm still upset over that.

However that being said? I have decided that June? Is Jack's month. I am going to do what it takes to get him back in shape. That being said? I've gone through and tried to find all the RP scenes that I have outstanding and linked them here. Some of you might have completely forgotten about them, or perhaps you just assumed I'd given up. See I am a very odd RPer. I will never EVER drop a scene unless I come to you and say "Hey uh... this isn't working for me." It might take me a LONG time to tag back, but I will always tag back eventually. The problem with that? Is that by the time I tag back you might not even recall the scene at all.

Currently my inbox has become just an out of control mess. I used to be so organized with it, but all the downtime I had when working two jobs, plus the fact that I can easily do SWS posts and snarky banter with no worry the emails in there are years old at the very most. I need to clean it out, but really? It's difficult to even take the time to do it because I clean it up and then the next day it's just another mess.

The scene's I've linked below? I plan on going back and re-reading and tagging. If you see a scene up here that you assumed was done? Or is part of an arc you'd prefer to drop? Just let me know. I know that relying on me for tags this past half a year has been a bit troublesome. In fact I've shifted almost completely away from 'tagging' in journal for RP and doing all of it in GoogleDocument and transferring the tags into a post and archiving the whole thing into my own journal. I'm insane. It's okay I know it.

June is the Month of the Jack and I'm gonna get him caught up. That being said though? With the exception of prompts? I will not be putting him into any new scenes until all that he has started is done. He's arguing me on it, but I'm gonna lay down the kindergarten rule here and tell him he can't pull out new toys until he's done playing with these.

Please don't hesitate to poke me for tags. These scenes are ones I committed to, ones I wanted to do, ones I WILL do I just have to put the focus there and get him back in gear. He's a broody guy and I am not thrilled that he's sort of slipped on me like this. So help me - help him and stick with me on these scenes. (unless they are done and I just didn't think they were - also? If I lost one? Like somewhere there's another one? please tell me! I tried to go through what I recalled by heart and I might've skipped something)

No worries -- umm, which I know is not the statement you were EXACTLY looking for? But take it at a pace that means you are still having fun, and it isn't work. And if you find that a different sort of scene or subject would help him come back out that much more, let me know.

YAY for Jack month! Because now I'm all caught up with Torchwood, and I know what's going on and I'll catch all the references.

Anyhoo, enough about me. I think we capped all of the scenes with Anna and Jack, so we're good that way. But when you're all caught up and want him to get together with any of mine just lemme know. No rush -- I'll be here.

I'm definitely available for finishing our scenes, whenever you're ready and feel up to it. :) There's no rush-- it should be fun, and that's the most important.

That said, Ianto misses Jack! I haven't been keeping up with Ianto like I should be, either (I keep convincing myself that he is ooc), so this will be a nice way to ease back into playing him.
