Jack nodded watching him try to come to grips with a startling fact that his world had long since passed him by. Jack knew the feeling a little too well, and wasn't sure if it was going to be any easier to hear from him or not. These things took time to adjust to, and the painful truth was that there was never going to be enough time, ever.
